The Hello thread
Morning.
Lovely and sunny this morning. I've been up since 5.30, as usual. My daughter has her induction day at 6th form today so she has a busy day. She got home at 11pm last night from prom. She did look beautiful.

Aww. I didn't go to my prom at school, I never liked anyone so I didn't bother. I have not long woke up and I am now going to ring the ward I was on back up and speak to the doctor.
Re: The Hello thread
My daughter had a great day at 6th form today for her induction. She's full of it and very excited. She's got details of trips and allsorts and she's made some new friends too which makes me happy.
Re: The Hello thread
Yes it is. It really helps to put my mind at ease. I'm going to look through all the stuff she brought home properly today. She has the opportunity to go on some great trips too.
Re: The Hello thread
It's lovely and sunny today, which means there is no excuse not to do the washing, so I'd best hop to it I spose. Oh the excitement.
Re: The Hello thread
Luckily I did mine the other day although I could wash my bed sheets as they are covered in cat fur
Re: The Hello thread
Morning. Lovely and sunny today. Done a load of washing. Just waiting for my parents to come over. Why is it that whenever your parents come over, you always feel as if the house has to be spotless? Mind you, I could scrub my house with b leach from top to bottom and my mother would still find fault with something.

Morning.
Not so good today. My little man isn't well again. It's a long complicated story but he suffers with nerve pain sometimes, and this time he's got it in his head again. Last night he fell asleep from exhaustion from crying. I've been up with him since just before 5am because he was crying and now he's fallen asleep again. Painkillers don't work so he ends up putting up with it until it goes.

Re: The Hello thread
The doctor is reluctant to give him anything too strong because of his age, so he's referring him to his consultant. In the meantime he's still in agony.
Re: The Hello thread
Well today he woke up in tears. Really didn't want to go to school so I rang up. Then I kind of persuaded him it might be better if he did go. I mean the pain isn't any better being at home, so I figured if he was at school, at least it could help take his mind off of it. And........he's come home and he feels better!!!
Sometimes this can go on for ages and ages so I'm really really pleased. It's horrendous watching him like this.

Afternoon.
It was sunny earlier but a while ago we had a torrential downpour. It's cloudy and overcast now. Mind you I prefer that to stifling heat.
Done some shopping today. Picked up my daughters prom photos from school. She looks beautiful.

Afternoon.
Been shopping. Was only gonna get a couple of bits. Ended up in Iceland. It's fatal if I go in there. I always spend too much. So my couple of bits cost me 61 quid.

I'm terrible if I go anywhere, I end up buying the list and then some. I did have a whole lot of sweet stuff I bought but i've ran out now this vegetarian thing hasn't been agreeing with me and has aided in making me ill so i've had to start eating meat again. But I still like veggie food I just can't have too much of it. I love those cauliflower cheese grills, mmmm.

Re: The Hello thread
Night. All of mine sleep on my bed. You can imagine how cramped that gets, for me anyway. Particularly when they steal my bed covers.
